I've been living in Vegas since 2008 and absolutely LOVE it here!
Vegas gives us no state income tax, world class entertainment/dining every day of the week, smooth roads, mountain views, palm trees everywhere you look, incredible hiking trails, hot springs, a ski resort, beautiful national and state parks in close proximity, a vast selection of fast food, restaurants open 24 hours (like Buffalo Wild Wings), awesome live music EVERY night of the week and you can buy beer 24 hours a day while enjoying the most incredible PEOPLE (from all over the world) WATCHING ever. We also have a kick ass airport with cheap(er) flights to a ton of destinations all over the world. You can have your feet in the ocean with a 4 hour drive, hit up Phoenix or San Diego in 5 hours or spend the day on the most amazing man made lake (Mead) exploring it's over 500 miles of shoreline.
We enjoy over 300 days of SUNSHINE every year! Yeah it gets hot 2.5 months out of the year but we also have elevation everywhere around us which means, you can take a quick drive up the mountains and enjoy an amazing 70 degree day in the middle of summer! Vegas is also a relatively newer town ranking number ONE in handicap accessibility. There's really no other city like it!
If you have any questions or want to learn more about what it's like living in Vegas, send me an email and we'll chat and in the meantime, VIVA LAS VEGAS!!
